kik for PC download guide

If you landed up on this page you must be looking for ways to download  Kik for PC and we’re assuming you know what KiK messenger is, but for those who don’t, here’s a quick introduction to this amazing app.

Kik is a brainchild of a Canadian company Kik Interactive and is a text messaging service just like Whatsapp but with more features and an easier user interface. It is available for free on iOS, android and Windows operating systems, just download the app, register yourself using a username (Plus point : It keeps your identity a secret by not using your mobile number, unlike other free messaging service).
This is a cross-platform messenger that lets you text your friends and family, share videos, music, pictures and every sort of documents. It helps you connect to you connect to the people you love the most in no real-time.

Like every new software application launched in recent years, Kik too has been launched only for mobile devices, keeping in mind the idea of 24x7 connectivity, that is the ‘mobility’ of mobile phones.

But if you are lazying around at home, and don’t want to dig deeper on your mobile’s tiny screen for connectivity, you can download this crazily-fast messaging app for PC as well.

The process is quite simple and involves just steps :
Crux of the Article : As the app is designed for mobile platforms it can’t be used on a PC directly, so all you have to do is convert your computer into a mobile platform. :P
Didn’t get it?

The Human race is full of geniuses and few of them have developed a software to run android applications on a desktop. This app is your mobile on your PC, after installing this you can use your phone on the computer that too with the same interface, the software is called android emulator and there are various versions available in the market.

So step 1). Choose a suitable android emulator for your windows, we recommend Andy and Whatsapp.

2). Download and install, after the installation is complete launch the application. You’ll now notice a screen similar to your phone opens on your desktop. This is what an android emulator is.

3). Now install Kik messenger from Google Play just like you do on your phone, maybe you’ll have to register for play store before that.
4). And that’s it! Once you’re done with the installation you can use KIK Messenger on your windows, as and when you want.
